So Phantasy Star II and Dragon Quest win my votes, even though I want to play through the Saturn version of Suikoden, and replay the series with the Japanese versions-- Y'know what. Screw it. I'm changing DQ to Suikoden.

Also, there's a distinct lack of 6th gen RPGs in these nominees. Have they been deemed generally too long for this endeavor? I'm a little shocked by no Breath of Fire representation, as well.
So many choices haha. I just took the nominations. I think the consensus so far has been to start with some of the classics first and work our way through, atleast that is how it is playing out.

It will also be interesting if phantasy star 2 wins as it would be 2 Genesis RPGs to start us off. This is on a system that only has a moderate RPG presence.

Going with Lunar: Silver Star since it's in my top 3 favorite games. Love it death, If it wins I wonder which version I should play since I own all of them and they can be pretty different from each other. Especially the GBA port.

Not casting a second vote in this poll.

Tales of Phantasia gets my vote - I own it but haven't played it yet.

I can't decide on a second option... replaying Lunar, Final Fantasy V, or Dragon Warrior III could be fun, so I'd be satisfied with any of them.

I originally picked Earthbound & Phantasy Star II, but then I switched out EB with Lunar since it is one of my all-time favorite games.

Interesting, I own all of these except Suikoden. I voted for the games I have played the least - Tales of Phantasia and Wild Arms.

Looks like Lunar has a clear lead already. Wouldn't mind playing it again, honestly.

We had Lunar in Together Retro back in 2008, even though it was a while ago. Should this be the sequel?

You know Lunar was already played for a Together Retro, right?

I voted for Suikoden and Wild Arms since they can be played on a console and a portable since they are on PSN. Also, all PSN users got Wild Arms for free last month...

EDIT: Ivo beat me to it by a few seconds

I just think that if we omitted games from the SRPG category due to previous inclusion in TR, the same rule should apply here.

Hmm I didn't know this. I think it is far enough out that if it is selected, we could go with SS. It seems most who have been participating in this so far joined after 2008.

I also think we should avoid overlap with TR. However, a follow up to a TR game with its sequel sounds excellent to me.

I'd be fine with Lunar 2 instead of Lunar 1, if it comes to that.
