:D Chapter 5 of the episodic online adventure game "The Tipping Point" is now available...

 But it's exclusive to the iPad version of the game. And there's no real word of the game, along with its fifth chapter, being released on any other format (Android, PC/Mac/Linux, et al), and why wouldn't the fifth chapter also be made available in Flash format like the first four? It just seems like an asinine attempt to con the fans of the game into buying the iPad version, and pretty much screwing over the rest of us that cannot shit the gold needed to buy the incredulously expensive iPad. And then there's those of us that support Android. Where's OUR port? As a Flash game, wouldn't it make more sense to do an Android port first? Many Android devices still run on the earlier versions of Android that still have Flash support.

Apple probably paid them to make it exclusive so they can feed peoples' delusions that having an Iphone/Ipad/Mac/whatever somehow makes them cooler than the rest of us. It doesn't. Something funny, though, is that Apple apparently ended the Mac VS PC ads precisely because they realized that viewers thought the Mac guy was an arrogant jackass. Make of that what you will.

 :?: Does anyone else think Power Rangers would work as a Broadway musical? It'd incorporate elements of Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark (surreal set designs, action sequences) and be essentially a reimagining of the pilot episode. And pretty much the bulk of the music would be the stuff Ron Wasserman did for the original show. So far, I have figured out, in a way, numbers based around the theme song as well as the tracks "5-4-1" and "Fight" (which is used in a scene where Billy, by way of Rita deceit, makes him question his place in the team). I've also got an idea in my head how to make everything work (i.e. the illusion of making Rita's monsters grow, Zordon's pseudo-disembodied head, the fact that Rita would hang over the stage a la Arachna in Spider-Man TOTD). And I'm thinking former Elphaba Eden Espinoza (who you may recognize from her voicework on Robot Chicken and Titan Maximum, as well as Maureen from RENT: Filmed Live on Broadway) as Rita Repulsa.

:( And the girl that I was interested in is now "talking" to someone.

("Talking" is a term nowadays for flirting/pre-dating. At least, I think.)

FFS in this thread again with the equating of brands and user mentality. Just stop: you sound like a petulant asshole.

I have met A LOT of Apple users that were/are snide, condecending jerks. That does tend to color my perception of the brand somewhat. I'm sorry if that offends you, but I call 'em as I see 'em.

Ah yeah, I hate condescending people.

You spelled "condescending" wrong, genius.

Also, the irony must burn like a thousand suns.

I'm not sure what's going on anymore.

You've met condescending Apple users, therefore Apple makes marketing decisions in order to keep its user condescending? I hate Apple as much as the next rational person here, but you don't call it like you see it. You call it like you imagine it to be. Dave's 100% right.

Whoa, Ds! Calm down, you don't want to stretch out your black turtleneck with all that anger. Just remember, What Would Steve Jobs Do? I mean, besides being dead and all...
