Oh god, is it that time of year again? Hell. I don't know what to pick. I only managed to get through 1 of the 3 games I picked last year. I do still need to play Ducktales, though... It's a good enough start to my list, anyway.
Man, I need to come up with a list, and I've no idea where to start.
The Eye of the Beholder discussion is interesting at least, so there's an option. I have the Sega CD version, though I'd need to pick up a RAM cart if I want to save. I'm also not sure if I'm really in the mood for it.
Maybe the Elder Scrolls Arena, or Daggerfall. I've played both, never finished either of them.
Damn...

My list is going to be pretty much unachievable for me, but I'll make one anyway, and see where I get to at the end of the summer:
1. Shining Force 3 ep 1 (SS)
2. Shining Force 3 ep 2 (SS)
3. Shining Force 3 ep 3 (SS)
4. Dragon Quest 1 & 2 (SFC)
5. Rocket Knight Adventures (GEN)
6. Grandia (SS)
7. Resident Evil 2 (DC)
8. Dynamite Deka (SS)
9. Phantasy Star II (MD)
10. Densetsu no Ogre Battle (SS)
I've gotten past the rising platform stage in level 5, but not beaten it, so I figured it would be a good time to try to beat it, since so many others have it on their lists. Also, I may have beaten Die Hard Arcade in the arcades way back when, but I can't remember, and it's been so long, that I'm going to try to get away with it. (Despite my confession that I just made....)
@noise: Do you have Skies of Arcadia? I loved Grandia II when it was originally released, but it hasn't aged nearly as gracefully as Skies has. I would easily recommend playing Skies over Grandia II.
Persona 2 Innocent Sin
Final Fantasy IX
Tales of Eternia
Ys: The Oath in Felghana
Ys Origin
Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars
Hotel Dusk: Room 215
Professor Layton and the Curious Village
Gemini Rue
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
Beats of Rage
Eternal Champions
Eye of the Beholder
Hexen
I Have No Mouth
Nights Into Dreams
Panzer Dragoon
Tomb Raider
Wipeout
I'm getting closer there. That's 9, though I'm not necessarily married to all of them yet. But it's close. Comments, help, suggestions? What am I missing genre-wise? I like to keep it diverse.
