Having troubles with PayPal. It won't let me transfer my funds to my current bank, because it's shared with Cara. What the hell??? I guess I have a few hundred bucks to blow on games now... Time to take a visit to the B/S/T forum.

Have you tried clearing the CMOS?
I would but my parents would be like
YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHIMG ABOUT THIS SHUT THE HELL UP
like seriously.

Edit: just happened. Tried opening it up and my parents walk in going YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ANOUT COMPUTERS
and I try to respond and was promptly told to shut up
Let them keep their screwy computer. Sounds like they'd probably blame you if something went wrong down the road anyway. It's not worth the hassle.

Just keep fibbing man. Especially when your moms ancient Asus eee PC is missing keys and has a touch pad that doesn't work not because of drivers or another software problem, but its simply worn the hell out...

Protip, dont answer like you are, especially in the middle of the night. They get very angry.

I am the only holdout in my family that does not have a mostly Mac house. But due to my brothers jobs, they pretty much have to have macs. Sadly, this doesnt cut down on calls as much as Apple claims it does...

The programs they use do not exist on Windows, atleast at the time they needed them, so thats the end of the debate.

If you want to make that joke and be an insufferable know-it-all at the same time, you can change "Buddha" to "Budai."

Budai was a Buddha, but not the one who is usually invoked by the title alone (Siddharttha Gautama). His appearance and Siddharttha's character are conflated all the time, though.

Going to the gym for the first time today, kinda nervous. Never been to one before.
Be sure to have fun and don't try to do too much on your first day. Since you have never been before, you may want to ask someone to show you around a bit and teach you how to use some of the equipment. Once you find something you like, stick with it. That is the important part.
BoneSnapDeez wrote::? Turned the big 3-0 today. Decided it was a good time to start running seriously again. Went for a 3-miler and died pretty quickly, it was like a death march on the way back. I know I can get back into shape, but these next few months are gonna be rough. I'd like to do the Maine Marathon, and then eventually Boston.
My wife and I were both semi-elite athletes at one point, but our work schedules and children do not permit us to exercise like we did when we were younger (i.e., 2+ hours per day). We both put on some weight during my wife's first pregnancy, and getting it off has been a struggle. Nonetheless, we are both back to our pre-children weights, and we have both started early morning exercise routines to get back into shape. While it is unlikely that we will ever be as fit as we were when we were younger, I have seen some pretty marked improvement in both appearance and fitness even in the short amount of time we have been exercising seriously.

The important parts - for me at least - have been: (1) not mentally punishing myself for missing a work out; (2) not trying to puch myself the way I did when I was younger; and (3) diversifying my workout routine. So far, following these simple rules has helped me fit in four or five 20 to 30 minute workouts per week for the past few months (which, while not as much as much exercise as I would like, is a lot better than nothing at all).

Also, happy birthday!
