Ever Get So Enraged You Break Your Game/Controller/Console?

I just kinda hurt myself.

What I do when I'm frustrated with a game is embarrassing...

I take a deep breath, drop the controller in defeat, reevaluate my life for a few seconds, stand up, manually turn off the console, unplug it, sadly wind the wires, place the game and console back on its shelf(shelves) and walk away while feeling shame and disgust.

Sometimes I'll take a nap afterwards.

I've never thrown a controller, but I've had two N64 joysticks break for reasons unknown to me.

I've had friends seem them and ask "Say what? You have a working N64 controller? My joystick got filthy, tried to clean it, broke it." And yes, I do have friends that ask "Say what?".

Not the best first party controller from Nintendo.

I think it was one of the first attempts at a Joy stick for thumb use. It was pretty neat when new, but it got numb quick and games like Mario Party killed them so easily.

Also yea, I'm the no throw/break club for controllers. Controllers are an expense I'd rather not pay because of my anger. I do hit the couch and yell politically incorrect slurs though.

Whenever a game's difficulty enrages me, I calmly set down my controller and make a polite, but nonetheless pointed and biting, remark regarding the game. Sometimes, if necessary, I engage in slow, sarcastic clapping.

I tend to insult gameplay, especially when a game has been cheap. "Really, you can't legitimately beat me, so you resorted to that? Sad, game, just sad." SNK boss battles get that a lot.

I've also bitten N64 cartridges before because I was so angry. I never throw controllers, but I need a way to express my rage. I make a point not to press hard enough to leave teeth marks, but damn is it ever satisfying.
