I don't hate it, but I think it sucks at what it tries to accomplish and I found it painfully boring. And really, that opinion isn't at all unpopular in the grand scheme of things, becasue the Shenmue games weren't liked enough/didn't sell enough copies to produce enough demand for a third title.AppleQueso wrote:Come on, man. Don't you hate Shenmue?dsheinem wrote:I need to stop peeking into this thread before I find enough reasons to hate all of you.
There's also a lot of comments here that aren't differentiated between whether they are unpopular "on the whole" or "amongst gamers" or "amongst retro gamers" or even "amongst folks on this forum". So there's that.
In any case, I can't decide if this thread is simply a circle jerk of trying to see who can have and defend the most "unpopular gaming opinion" as a way of gaining some kind of distinction as a unique, independent thinker (who *OMG* can bring shock value) or if the thread is also functioning as a place for stupid trolling.
