...wait that one actually works pretty well

That's the first Bataman movie I thought of parodying too. After that it was "Super Mario Begins", a gritty prequel showing the origins of mario in the tough streets of brooklin

So how much are they going to differentiate the new games from the old? Have they revamped the battle system? Or are they just putting Pokemon Blue Ver. 17.0010203 in 3D and putting a forty dollar price tag on it?

Well let me just answer a little of my own question.

What's new (from what I've read):
-3D world/visuals
-You can move diagonally now
-The "Fairy" type Pokemon is introduced; apparently Dragon-types are weak against it.
-Some Pokemon have new evolutions through Mega Evolution; As if Mewtwo wasn't powerful enough to begin with?

I haven't read anything about the battle system yet.

Just found about Super Saiyan 4 Mega Evolutions today. Have to say I'm pretty excited about this. Also happy to hear Nintendo finally confirm that character customization will be a big part of Pokemon X & Y. This will make my adventure feel much more personal.

From what I read, using the circle pad equips your Rollerblades which allow you a wide range of movement and speed, while using the dpad had you walk slower in 8directions.

This will be my first Pokemon game in years (Silver) so I'm excited.

Nintendo has unveiled a paid subscription service for upcoming RPGs Pokemon X and Y that will enable you to store your critters in the cloud and transfer monsters with past and future games.

Holy shit! Mega Blastoise!? TAKE MY MONEY!

Also the "cloud" box is a great idea to help prevent compatibility issues in the future, and another way they can make extra cash. I may end up doing it to get my current Pokemon over, but I won't be keeping the service.

I first I kinda rolled my eyes at the subscription thing but then I saw it was only going to be 500yen, which is roughly $5. So that's okay I guess. I'm not really a Pokemaniac though so I'm not sure I'd get much use out of it though. Guess it depends on how much I get into the new games.

Yeah, and it's an option. It's not like they're making anybody use the online storage. This seems to only be for people that have far too many Pokemon to store in-game, people that want to easily transfer Pokemon, or people that simply want a backup.
