I dont dislike the designs, and I'm quite looking forward to these games. From the Pokémon selection and the environments shown, it looks like it could be based around somehwere in Europe like Black/White were based on the US. There's a very Eiffel Tower looking structure in one of the screens.

Yeah every generation that rolls around i find myself wondering what on earth they're going to use next. I'm calling the next generation as being Pokemon Ampersand and Pokemon Asterisk.
I'm oddly looking forward to X/Y though, probably because I actually plan to pick up a 3DS. Haven't played any of the games in the series since GSC.
I don't mind the designs either.

I will play this game. And I like the look of the starters. But will the new legendaries continue to just look like they're wearing heavy armor? I much prefer the legendaries of old that usually actually looked like animals.

Finally a true full 3d Pokemon, perhaps my purchase of a 3ds was a good idea after all

Re: Pokemon X&Y, or how Nintendo ran out of names
I hate the first starter, but I literally yelled out 'squee' when I saw Fennekin and Froakie. Also I'm glad Pokemon is finally going full 3d, it's been long overdue.

I'm calling it now. Pokemon Z.
There always has to be a third one so they can charge an extra $40.
Anyway, X/Y kind of looks like DQ 8; which is fine by me.
I'm done buying these games though so what I think doesn't really matter I guess.

Black and White broke that trend, though, so who knows?Opa Opa wrote:I'm calling it now. Pokemon Z.

Anyway, I'm not interested. Didn't we just get Black and White 2 a few months ago? I haven't even gotten that because I've been so burned out from these yearly installments.
WANNA GET YOUR WALLS CRUSHED?

The move to full 3D models means we finally get the Pokemon Stadium experience in the main series. And I approve.

One step closer to a Pokemon MMO, we have the graphics!
