I'm a big fan of kickstarter and all that can be done with it, but this is just a blatant scam. I can only imagine this woman made some bet to see how much money they could pool from the ignorant masses with a made up story.
I can't be totally angry at her though; the people stupid enough to throw money at this deserve to have it stolen from them. However, the fact that Kickstarter won't take it down despite the several rules being broken is very worrying and telling that they aren't doing their best to look out for the people funding projects.
You hate women if you don't fund this kickstarter!

Worse of all, they have actually supported the project. If they are willing to break the rules here, who says they won't do it when your money is on the line?
By the way, this woman just tried to curb growing criticism by asking 4chan what to do with the money.
Oh, and she has a picture throwing money in the air and declaring herself part of the 99%. Esperpentic, there's no other word for it.
