Well, from the OP title and my opinion about this, I am basically hate women .

To tell the truth, why is this in kickstarter? This is basically a charity to this little girl which in reality can be use as stealing money from people who think the girl will go to the camp to make a game just to prove that her brother is wrong. Also, are the people who did give some money to the little girl going to play the game the little girl is making?

Kickstarter use to be useful way to get some money for independent production team who don't really have the money to build what they're trying to build. Now, it's turning into something what kickstarter not suppose to be now.

I was actually trying to find a thread about this. I guess 4chan is pretty pissed off about this and has been reporting the kick starter for the past few days. Hopefully it will get taken down. She had also been spamming twitter which is also against ks rules.

What makes it a scam? The fact that those folks are rich enough to fund this on their own?

It's no worse than the YouTube clowns who brag about the thousands of dollars they've spent on rare video games, yet when the final turd drops they suddenly "need" a few grand from "the fans" to print some DVDs, "upgrade to HD", etc...

I think Kickstarter is a wonderful website. It has proven to be incredible useful over the past couple of years. But this type of stuff should not be allowed.
