I wish I was playing Halo. lol.ninjainspandex wrote:Thats haloOpa Opa wrote:I hate it when matches turn into grenade chucking contests.
CoD + everyone throwing grenades/using grenade launchers = not that much fun when I just want to shoot people.
I wish I could find a specific Calvin and Hobbes comic. It had Calvin and Hobbes throwing snowballs at each other but they were too far apart to hit each other. That's what the CoD match felt like.

I already posted this in the what made you smile/what ticked you off thread, but here it is again:
I sniped the pilot out of a flying helicopter on Noshahr Canals. That's a first for me in BF3. I have done it before in BFBC2. Also shot a helicopter who was harassing a spawn point with the standard RPG. For some reason or another, the admin had a ban on stingers... so I took matters into my own hands

Following server rules, not even once. That rule is usually put in place by vehicle whore sever admins that also kick or team switch people so they and/or their friends can have the vehicles. I always make it a point to break as many of those stupid rules as I can, because fuck you ban me. I'll wear every ban and kick with a badge of honor and take it as a tear in my bucket.puke_face wrote:I already posted this in the what made you smile/what ticked you off thread, but here it is again:

One of my favorite ways to take scout choppers is with frag rounds since it only kills the pilot and lets you take the chopper.

That 17-minute BoyFriend 4 gameplay video is so underwhelming. I'm fatigued with this whole MW business. So many entries in the BF series and only one was in a futuristic setting. No imagination.

Re: CoD/Battlefield discussion thread
Meh I thought it looked nice. Also they only showed single player so who knows we might get lucky and the multiplayer will be 2143 for all we know right now. That was also just the prologue of the campaign I believe so maybe the actual campaign will be futuristic and set a number of years after what was in the trailer.Pulsar_t wrote:That 17-minute BoyFriend 4 gameplay video is so underwhelming. I'm semi excited but not until they release video and details about the multiplayer will I be able to pass judgment. Hell after reading the article at the bottom I'm waiting until the game is released.

I enjoyed BF3 despite its fragmentary DLC nature, battlelog says I pledged 140 hours into the multiplayer over the past 18 months, but it's hard to get excited about the same thing.. It differentiated itself from the CoDs of this world but now it's become dire itself. Greener pastures had better be around the corner.

Re: CoD/Battlefield discussion thread
I agree that the DLC stuff get old seeing as how you pay more for all the expansions combined than you do for the game originally, but I still like the superior game mechanics with exception to stabbing. You shouldn't have to be behind a person in order for them to die. It should be right in front/beside them as well. However, it is really annoying to get killed by a dickhead with a knife in CoD when you've put 5 bullets in as he was running to stab you...Pulsar_t wrote:I enjoyed BF3 despite its fragmentary DLC nature, battlelog says I pledged 140 hours into the multiplayer over the past 18 months, but it's hard to get excited about the same thing.. The last CoD I thoroughly played was Black Ops. I have only played MWF3 two times online, and not at all on the campaign. I had the most fun with World at War, and am pretty sickened to see the state of it's online gameplay now. Nothing but hackers and cheaters these days.
