There's some really fun ideas when you start to take things to the extremes in modern physics. Like how inflationary cosmology dictates that at a certain point there will be sections of the universe that will never be able to interact with our section, because the inflation of space between the two points is faster than the speed of light. Which essentially spins off that stuff into their own separate universe.
