The point isn't to benefit the customer, its to make money!!

The benefit is that now you will experience a $400 cost avoidance of buying the next Xbox this year. With the money you save you can buy 100 Sega Genesis games.AppleQueso wrote:I can't even think of a PR-spin type of "benefit"
Simple. Those games will end up having a 100 percent piracy rate. Actually, in a world without used games, I'd say that most games would have a high piracy rate. It might take pirates a good while to crack the new console, but sooner or later, they'll find a way. They always do. That's why I always laugh at people's attempts to try and stop them. They're wasting their time.BoneSnapDeez wrote:How will this affect games with low print-runs?
Will gougers hoard multiple new copies and then flip them on fleabay once the game goes OOP? I realize that they already do this now, but in a world without used games the mark-ups will be absolutely insane.

Honestly, I'd probably prefer it if the console was strictly DD. At least then the no used thing would be expected.Jmustang1968 wrote:You download themBoneSnapDeez wrote:How will this affect games with low print-runs?
