Amazon Prime, worth it?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

but then Apple fans wouldn't be paying more to do less with their devices!

if my Android phone, Kindle or my wife's Kindle Fire HD could play Deathsmiles or DDP Blissful Death, I wouldn't play them that way. I adore my Android phone, and yet it has zero games on it.

You gotta give him a break. It just wouldn't be the same if Dave was writing his book in Starbucks with a beanie on and a popped collar on anything else but an apple device.

Had no idea they had a streaming service and I've been considering getting Netflix or something sometime soon anyways, so maybe I could try this out instead. Can you access it with consoles or anything?

Yes. If I remember correctly, it worked on my Xbox before I stopped using Live. But it will work on a Roku player, and DVD/Blu players - but a word on the DVD/Blu players.

From what I understand only SONY brand DVD/Blu players have an Amazon app. I had a Samsung that did Netflix/Vudu/Cinemanow/Youtube, but no Amazon app. My TV is also a Samsung, and there was no app for it either (at least up until a couple of months ago, I haven't checked since).

But if you have a PS3, Xbox or Roku, or even a Sony Blu player - you're set!

I love prime for all the reasons mentioned.

I was browsing full size pinball tables, and the were prime two day shipping eligible. Awesome.
