Take away the analog stick and the controller really isn't that great at all compared to the normal Saturn controller. The d-pad and buttons are not nearly as nice/comfortable along with just the ergonomic shape of the controller. Not saying its garbage, far from it. It is very well built but if the analog stick isn't needed Its better not to use it is all is all I'm saying.

Unless someone were looking for a controller that's easier to grip. Don't get me wrong, I love both of them, but the model 2 saturn controller doesn't really conform to the hands at all. The 3D pad can be a little more cramped, but I find the d-pad to be just as good, and the buttons aren't so much a detriment. Plus the shoulder buttons are a hell of a lot easier to use.

I will agree 110% on the shoulder buttons although the gen 2 Saturn controller's aren't terrible, the gen 1's were pretty bad lol.
