Welcome to Racketboy!

There is a great articles on this very site:

http://www.racketboy.com/retro/the-best ... s-under-10

http://www.racketboy.com/retro/best-und ... olor-games

that should point you to some great games. (They barely mention Donkey Kong, however, which is one of the very best games on the system. That would be the next one that I would add to my collection if I were you.)

There are some great games for the gameboy on the cheap on our charity auction.

I find Duck Tales and TMNT Fall of the Footclan to be must haves for the GB. Might want to check 'em out.

Agreed. Operation C is boss...and I love how much it was references in Contra 4.

Is there such thing as a bad gameboy game? i mean seriously these are games that are based purely on gameplay while the graphics arent something to oogle about.

Is there any notoriously hard gameboy games that are still considered good?

Toki Tori (GBC) will ruin you. It is such a great puzzle/platform game, and some of the later puzzles are more difficult than anything you will find in a Professor Layton game.

Right before GBColor was available, a ton of bad GB games were released.

Every system has its fair share of bad games, but I would agree that the original Gameboy had a pretty great library of game.s

I updated my post in that thread to reflect my current collection.
