I have not seen that cart before, but I have a bootleg cart for 1/4 Meg games that has a switch labled 8/32 (I figure the megabit versus the megabyte thing). It could be a 1Meg RAM cart for the SNK games. Just a thought.

If the SS memory manager does not show it on any of your systems, this could be why. Did the seller say it was a memory backup?

Yes they told me it was a memory card.

Well I get it to pop up, and it says it needs to be cleared (formatted), so I do that, load saves onto it again, save a game on it, and it's corrupted again...

Either still need some cleaning or very careful cart port pin tweaking or it is toast. Any other Saturn you have access to to test it on?

Besides the handful of Saturn I have, no. I took modeling sand paper and lightly sanded down the pads, it was the only way to get some grime off. I then applied ProGold to the pins. The pins look brand new now, all bright and silvery. I'll try again.

If I can't get it to work, did you want to give it a go?

I could take a look if you wanted to send it along. I guarantee no miracles but I do have multiple systems to try it with and could see if anything jumps out at me inside.

I can send it to you to look at. If it's a RAM pack and is functional, I would like it back. The pins are not in the same layout as they are on the official carts though. I don't even have a RAM pack to compare it to..
