as long as the woodbury weapons are in this state, they should be pretty easy for rick and gang to beat.

plus everyone in ricks group are expert shooters. carl was getting head shots with a pistol through the linked fence when saving michonne.

It will be interesting to see if the Governor tries to occupy the prison, or if Rick & Co. try to occupy Woodburry.

A friend of mine said something interesting last night: "I can't remember a show that has gone from bad to great so quickly". I had plenty of valid complaints about season two, and although TWD isn't perfect now, it is still an incredible show that is only getting better.

This Woodbury story is really moving in a very different direction from the book. It's very interesting.

yeah sucks they take a midseason break.

i'm not trying to nitpick but wtf was the purpose of the shack scene? kinda seemed like filler and served no purpose.

How about they offer us different choices vis-a-vis Telltale's game you press a button on the remote and get a different ending  Wasn't that tried with an earlier TV show btw?

Probably meant more for Michone than anything. It was a character moment for her and a chance for Rick to see what type of person she is. Although given how much people complained that there wasn't enough zombie violence in the first two seasons, I'm sure that scene got put in for that reason too.

That scene immediately made me think of this

I guess I'll just have to read on to see anything shocking in the comic, I stopped a little ways into the prison arc and it hasn't really gotten any worse than this:

That's not even remotely shocking really and certainly not more extreme than the TV show, I can easily name several comics that run laps around this. The average cover of an issue of Crossed is more screwed up. But, again, I only read up to like vol 16ish, so I guess it's not fair to judge yet.

I'll say this much; in the comics, Micchone takes a little revenge on a certain other character, and there is certainly some things done there that couldn't ever be done on TV in the current state.

One other scene from a later comic still gets me every time I reread it. Rick is a man that will do anything for his family, that is undeniable.

There's worse stuff to come if you keep reading, much worse. People aren't kidding when they say NO ONE is safe in the comic.

I agree with both Gamerforlife and brunofh. There's worse stuff that will occur later in the comics, and I also agree with brunofh. I've read the various installments of Crossed, and there's nothing in all the 100 issues of Walking Dead I've read that will hold a candle. Mainly because of the nature of the crossed vs. the walkers - the latter are dead, slow, lumbering, and have no other purpose but to eat. The former are still alive, fast, and want to torture, rape, murder, and cannibalize (most of the time, all of the above)
