Nope. I actually like the system. And would prefer to have it's capabilities in more than one room. Also, historically ... selling systems doesn't usually work out. Tends to be better in the long run just to hang on to them.

Now that the WiiU has been released, however, I do wonder how many new games will be released for the Wii. I tried searching for a list of upcoming Wii games, but the lists I found were less than robust. Since the Wii was such a popular system, I would expect new games for several more years, but - if the lists I found are correct - it looks like there is going to be a unprecendented decline in new games.
(I do not think that the lists that I located are correct. Does anyone know where I can find a list of upcoming Wii games? You would think that GameStop or Amazon would have somethign like this, but I have not yet located it.)
I usually use gamefaqs for upcoming release lists. You can browse by system and then narrow the list down to a specific region.
Here's the Wii list for North America:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/wii/releases/region-1
Thanks for the link. That list is showing exactly 1(!) game scheduled for release in North America, however. I did not think that they would be able to turn off the shovel ware spigot so quickly!
(BTW: I love late-period releases on any console; so, I am anxious to see what is coming up...shovel ware or otherwise.)

Amazingly enough, the Wii is dying faster than the Gamecube did.

Of course I'm keeping my Wii! Don't most of us here collect consoles?

Who would give up a Wii? Fantastic games, GameCube 480p too. The Wii U doesn't support gamecube controllers, meaning no PS2 controllers, fightsticks or flightsticks. It's also a great system for emulation. And why wear out that expensive Wii U laser when you've got a working Wii?

If you sell your Wii, i would say you shouldnt be buying a Wii U, because Wii's are pretty worthless at this point, also your probably hard up for cash or space.
When did Data East collection become to rare, copies on ebay going as high as $90!, glad i picked up my copy for $20 already.

You mean more valuable? Price ≠ rarity. VGPC shows it has been creeping up, but not that much and not like half of the existing copies didn't just blink out of existence.

My guess is that it was rather low print run. I don't remember ever seeing it at stores. Also, it seems like the game is/was made for game nuts like us here who also tend to hang onto their games, so there is that as well.
A good example would be Zelda: Wind Waker on the GameCube. I looked it up on Amazon, and it was like over 40 bucks! I thought Twilight Princess would be that much and it has held up it's value pretty well hovering around 30 dollars, as it was pretty much the last good GameCube game to come out, but damn.
