Good region free DVD players?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Seems like a great deal, I was hoping to get something that can support HDMI/component and can read a lot of discs.

It also supports AVI and MP4 video using a USB drive

I can confirm that Phillips works - although to be honest I was using one purchased 5-6 years ago to play PAL wrestling DVDs. Works like a charm.

I don't know what your set-up is like, but if you're interested in other free solutions, you might be able to flash your computer's disc drive firmware and use Region X. Worked well on my MBP, although I haven't really used it at all since ripping my region 2 DVDs, but all other drive functions work fine as well. You'd have to manually switch the drives region, though.
