Hell if I'm posting a video of myself on the web. In the remote chance I do get on the show I'll at least be getting paid to make an idiot of myself.
I'll make the opening bid then...

20 cents...

You don't even have to let me dip my nuts in your mouth...

Home-made burgers and fries with an RC Cola. Simple food, but it's been so long since I had burgers that it hit the spot.

Honey glazed ham. Ham is one of the few foods I can eat just about every day without getting tired of it.

Woke up with a hunger for Corned Beef, Cabbage and Caraway, potatoes, and a hearty porter. I called The Fresh Market, no corned beef brisket. Called Harris Teeter, $5.99 a lb. for point cut. Called Lowe's Foods, $5.59 a pound for point cut.

Eventually gave up and decided to make a pot roast instead. Went to Wal*Mart this afternoon for garbage bags, and while walking by the meat department they had both brisket and point cut of corned beef for $2.99 a lb. Looking forward to an early St.Patty's Day celebration.

Unfortunately, corned beef is not something you can just wake up and decide to make. Stupid thing has to sit for 3 weeks. If you make it yourself though, it's better than store-bought.

Nah. I've been making corned beef, albeit store bought, that rivals anyone's homemade brisket. I have friends who used to hate corned beef until they tried mine. I will be a corned beef braggart on this one.

I think the main thing is how you cook the beef. Most people I know boil it, which is just wrong. I take a large glass baking dish and fill it up with about an inch deep of water. Place a rack on that, but the corned beef fat side up on that, cover with foil and bake at 350 for 45 per pound. Then, turn the broiler on, remove foil, and cook for an additional fifteen minutes. Corned beef heaven I tell ya.
