I actually really like the Playstation offerings.
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

I kinda wanna go back and beat Alone In The Dark. That game looks amazing.

Yeah, RE:CV is easily the best. And I really enjoy playing RE2 & 3 as well. They're both excellent ports, in my opinion. I also own, but never got into, Blue Stinger, D2 and Carrier. I just never had enough interest to give them a go. Maybe I'll check 'em both out this year.

I always wanted Illbleed for my DC library, just to have. Haven't really heard too much about it, whether it's good or not.

It's amazing and it's an exclusive title to the dreamcast. Personally I think it's the best horror game on the system just don't take it to seriously. Its meant to be b-rate and crazy

I'm playing through it right now (just in time for Halloween). I don't know why I skipped this game when it was originally released, because it's great!

I would think that anyone who likes the early Resident Evil games would also like AOITDNN.

That game was bad, maybe one of the worst I've ever played. I didn't play for very long but the experience was pretty awful.
And that's a damn shame, because I saw it hyped up like crazy in the gaming magazines of the time. Plus, the man himself Bruce Campbell did voice work for it. Too freakin bad.
I played through this game years ago when I found it for pretty cheap, and I had just really discovered the Evil Dead series, so I was super excited to find a game based on it. Maybe I was blinded by the use of the license, but I dont remember it being that bad, pretty much a straight Resident Evil clone. I am sure it wouldnt hold up to a play though today, but I enjoyed it for what it was back then.

Code Veronica does it for me,i may have mentioned this before here or on another forum but another game not quite survival horror but more supernatural in a future setting is Omikron Nomad Soul. This game surprised me as once you get past the Strange story where you enter the video game world on your console to answer a plea for aid you discover that the game has a very sinister story and one day while i was playing there was a cut scene in a morgue that triggered a panic/anxiety attack ,i had to turn the console off because the game freaked me out that much.I had played all sorts of games before like Resi,Silent Hill, etc without problem but this game is just too strange, exploring the future city and its buildings just felt so real at the time.A demon like creature is killing people (jack the ripper like) when you die you possess another character to continue investigating the brutal murders so if you like the sound of that then try it. :?:

Such an underrated game. Unique, fun, and a great concept with the body jumping thing. But it's an action game, all the way.

My favorite horror games on the Dreamcast are the Resident Evil games. Namely Resident Evil: Code Veronica. Back in the day, that game and Marvel vs. Capcom were the reasons I originally bought my Dreamcast. I've heard the Dreamcast versions of RE 2 & 3 are the best versions out there, and I wouldn't doubt that. But I also wouldn't know first-hand as I played them and own them on PS1.

Carrier is a total Resident Evil rip-off, that takes place on a very large ship (on the ocean, not in space). But it's a very well done Resident Evil rip-off that's worth playing for fans of the genre, especially if it's still as cheap as it was when I bought it. I think I paid like $5 for it.

Legacy of Kain is more action than horror, but it definelty has horror-elements to it such as vampires, spirits, plenty of gore, and a gothic look to it. And the Dreamcast version is the best version of this game.
