I decided to calculate a high level PC for a possible PSU he could purchase and thought this would suffice..

Not even that much.. And pretty much a necessity since you bought a stock PC from HP.. Next time just buy a prebuilt desktop off newegg like ibuypower or cyberpower pc.. They even have cheaper models that you can upgrade accordingly.. If your main focus is gaming anyways..

Newegg has a 500w PSU for $29.99 after mail-in rebate.

It's in the top right corner of the page. An 80+ Corsair unit. I have a 430w unit myself and they're good quality.

It looks decent, but there's a fair amount of negative reviews on it. Some discrepancies with the power ratings. There's some good (negative) reviews to read through for it.

You like WRPGs?

Some of my favorite (semi-)recent RPGs are Divinity II: Ego Draconis, Dragon Age: Origins, Risen, Torchlight, and The Witcher. Also check out the D&D collections.

not sure if you are into MMO's but Guild wars 2 is awesome, and you only have to pay the purchase price, no monthly subscriptions. I also have a pre-built computer, I did that is, replaced the power supply, ram, CPU, GPU, and motherboard. It is a Asus.

Seriously, why has nobody told this guy to return this heap of junk yet? If you're faffing around with PSU and GPU upgrades ALREADY after just getting it less than a month ago it should have been returned ASAP. 10GB of ram and 6 cores? wtf?

My troll detector is tingling.
