New computer now what? help!

Post by ninjainspandex »

eeJust got a new computer for my bday, specs are 10 gigs of ram with a 6 core 3.50 mhz prosessor. Ive been out of the pc gaming scene since like 2006. Planning on getting battlefield 3 today but i noticed battlefield 2 is available on steam, anyone still play that? I loved that game so much. Also looking for some good pc games to take advantage of my new found power, maybe dayz. When it comes to computers i like fps games, not neccisarily competative ones so anyone have any suggestions?

well then.....you should had waited.

the only thing the PC should be better with this version is the much higher graphics resolution it can output...especially with a good rig.

Crysis and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. are worth checking out...

Usually is the little things that are not optimized. Like the UIs are controller driven. Usually they have multiple resolutions, graphical options, etc.

Peruse the Steam Halloween sale perhaps. There are some good games in that for $2.50-5ish a pop.
