....There are some throw away bands in there that may have opened for others or just didn't impress me enough to be remembered.

My next concert life goal is to see Rage Against the Machine, Down, and Tool as many times as I can.

BTW, with the exception of Korn, Limp Bizkit, Ice Cube, and Orgy, which was at the Family Values tour in '98, all of these bands have been seen within the past 6 years, lol. Concerts are one of my favorite things to do.

Glad to see the lists keep coming. I know some of you said you would like to see Down. All I can say is get out and go you will not be disappointed. I caught an evening with Down back in 08 and they played for 2 hours. Defiantly one of my favorites. Now to finish my list.

I'm super jealous of these. I like Hip Hop too, but my friends are all metal heads and won't go see any of those show's with me and where I live I have to travel about three hours to go anywhere that holds concerts, so I don't want to go alone. I'm a huge fan of WuTang Clan. I have been since '93 and have always wanted to see them. I hate that I didn't get to see them in their prime and when ODB was alive TBH, Ice Cube was one of the most fun acts I've ever seen. I tried to go see Eminem when he first released The Slim Shady LP, but it sold out quick.

I'm super jealous of these. I like Hip Hop too, but my friends are all metal heads and won't go see any of those show's with me and where I live I have to travel about three hours to go anywhere that holds concerts, so I don't want to go alone. I'm a huge fan of WuTang Clan. I have been since '93 and have always wanted to see them.

Yeah I didn't go to any until I went to university and met fellow hip hop heads. My best friend lives in Spain and I live in England so in 2009 and 2010 we decided to go to Hip Hop Kemp in Czech Republic, which is basically three days of underground hip hop in a festival. As a Brit, I'd love Rock The Bells to come over here as the line ups you guys get over there are incredible.
Most of the older rappers make their money from touring nowadays and they regularly tour Europe as we are still suckers for that 90s hip hop. Unfortunately they only call in to London, but they have started spreading out recently, and Immortal Technique who I saw on Wednesday here in Bristol was brilliant, and emphasised that he wasn't there to just do London, as he was touring the whole UK.
And as much as I'd love to see an Eminem or Nas, they only do the big arenas, and I find the more personal, intimate 300-strong nightclub venues have a much better atmosphere. I've never understood watching them at a massive arena like Wembley, only to spend the whole time looking at the screens. May as well watch it on TV/Youtube.

I hate that I didn't get to see them in their prime and when ODB was alive TBH, Ice Cube was one of the most fun acts I've ever seen. I tried to go see Eminem when he first released The Slim Shady LP, but it sold out quick.

I feel the same way about Guru, as I love Gang Starr and it's a real shame I'll never be able to see him live. Also acts like Run DMC and the Beastie Boys, or any group with missing members. Hell, I had tickets for Jurassic 5 back in like 2006, and had to sell them as I had nobody to go with. Shortly after, they disbanded.

Man, I was seriously saddened by MCA passing away. The Beastie Boys were one of those groups that helped shape my adolescence. I didn't absolutely love the albums past "Hello Nasty" but, they were still good in their own right. I didn't like how they quit playing a lot of instrumentals and only did samples. But, they were still pure Beastie Boys records.

I didn't get into Gang Starr until "Ownerz" came out. That album is still played a few times a year with me.

I also loved all of Jurassic 5's album except "Feedback". I think that "Power in Numbers" was so good that "Feedback" had too much to live up to. I just didn't care much for it.

I have also noticed that the UK is still big into the early 90's rap. I think that is really cool because that's when Hip Hop was really really good. I hate 99% of what comes out these days. That could just be because I'm 31 years old with a toddler and one on the way

I've only ever been to two concerts, both of them being The Next Big Thing concerts in Florida. They featured random bands who I've mostly forgotten. All in all, I don't like concerts. Well, seeing girls take their tops off is fun. Besides that though, i get nothing out of them. Nine times out of ten, a band's music sounds better on disc out of a studio than it does live anyway. Even as a big fan of rock and metal, I don't get the fascination with concerts other than as a way to financially support your favorite bands, which is a respectable goal, or just getting to meet them in person

i should probably add though, that I spent years of my life living in a town with lots of locations featuring local artists in small locations performing for small groups. So maybe I've gotten used to a more intimate music going experience versus loud, big, over crowded concerts. If you can think of The Bronze nightclub on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and all the live acts they had at that place. That's more my thing
