Internt speeds, does it affect browsing?

I am fed up of youtube being a monopoly, we need competition. Not sure why no competitors coming up. Vimeo is not cutting it

That's the catch isn't it? Youtube has plenty of competitors, they're just all really crappy.

Not even Youtube makes money. That should explain it.

At home we have a 4meg down 256k up DSL connection, at work I have a 5gig up and down connection. The old office had a 10gig connection, granted the main telcohotel for the southeast USA was down the street from us. Sadly our security policies makes it more like a 50meg connection.
