I can't write with those pens, I'm not used to pressing on the paper and the inconsistent inking drives me mad. Hell, I have only been using fountain pens for a year and I'm having troubles going back to gel pens, they are so much slower it isn't funny.

Still, kind of hard to write with fountain pens correctly.

And I can't use fountain pens because I press too hard...

Aw nuts.

I can't promise you anything, but I'll see if I can't grab a Silent Hill T-shirt for you. What size?
Very kind but maybe not needed, Thankyou. We might be doing an LA run to visit friends before the end of the month and I'll snag one then. On the other hand if it is close by, I take a medium. Please let me know the shipped cost, This gives me another reason to:

@Luke - I think you would approve of this place. I forgot to mention on the drive back down from Universal Studios. The best French Dip Sandwiches in Southern CA, Philippe's outside the LA Union Station. This is right at the edge of Little Tokyo and Chinatown eateries, yet still maintains a huge loyal cliental.

I would drive to LA to get the shirt as just an excuse for another sandwich!

Philippe The Original is one of the oldest and best known restaurants in Southern California. Philippe's was established in 1908 by Philippe Mathieu, who claimed the distinction of having created the "French Dipped Sandwich." One day in 1918, while making a sandwich, Mathieu inadvertently dropped the sliced french roll into the roasting pan filled with juice still hot from the oven. The patron, a policeman, said he would take the sandwich anyway and returned the next day with some friends asking for more dipped sandwiches. And so was born the "French Dipped Sandwich," so called either because of Mathieu's French heritage, the French roll the sandwich is made on or because the officer's name was French. The answer is lost to history.

Double dipped of course! Watch out for that wasabi level hot mustard in the bottle.

EDIT: @Luke, man Usinger's looks amazing!
Where are you staying in Chicago? The least I could do is suggest a restaurant.

Usinger's makes amazing food. Worth every penny.
We're staying here:
11 E Walton St Chicago, IL 60611

The vendor is taking us to Gibson's for dinner I guess. That still leaves dinner on Sunday night, breakfast, lunch, and breakfast the next day. Suggest away!

You are a about beautiful mile walk, or a five dollar cab ride from The Palmer House. You should definitely take an hour out of your day to visit their famous bar and the Empire Room. The main lobby is something memorable and I shit you not that yours truly played the Steinway in the Empire Room. Grab a Palmer Fizz and enjoy the scenery.

It's not close, but www.superdawg.com at Milwaukee and Devon has the best hotdogs on the planet. Best way to get there is to take the blue line to Jefferson Park, then a cab and back.

Check out Piece Pizza off of Milwaukee near Division street. Best thin crust pizza Chicago has to offer and only a few miles away from Walton.

Avoid all "Authentic Chicago Deep Dish Pizza" joints that are located down, downtown.

You are so close to the Chicago Theater that I have to strongly recommend the Backstage Bistro. Make a reservation, eat $100 entrees for ten bucks.

Not a fan of deep dish? Last time I was in Chicago, I ate at Lou Malnati's and thought it was the best pizza I had ever had.

I'll let you know what I ended up doing. Thanks for the tips!

:D : I'm home!

:( : I'm home.

It was a wonderful trip, but we are still exhausted. We had to take 3 airplanes and travel through 4 states to get get home. It took a little over 17 hours and even after a little nap, all that traveling has taken it's toll. Thank goodness we have the weekend to recuperate.

I'll post a couple of game-related goodie pictures once I'm rested :)
