I can't write with those pens, I'm not used to pressing on the paper and the inconsistent inking drives me mad. Hell, I have only been using fountain pens for a year and I'm having troubles going back to gel pens, they are so much slower it isn't funny.elmagicochrisg wrote:

Very kind but maybe not needed, Thankyou. We might be doing an LA run to visit friends before the end of the month and I'll snag one then. On the other hand if it is close by, I take a medium. Please let me know the shipped cost, This gives me another reason to:Luke wrote:Aw nuts.CRTGAMER wrote: Oop forgot to mention, I went to the California Universal Studios. No Despicable Me there.![]()
I can't promise you anything, but I'll see if I can't grab a Silent Hill T-shirt for you. What size?

Philippe The Original is one of the oldest and best known restaurants in Southern California. Philippe's was established in 1908 by Philippe Mathieu, who claimed the distinction of having created the "French Dipped Sandwich." One day in 1918, while making a sandwich, Mathieu inadvertently dropped the sliced french roll into the roasting pan filled with juice still hot from the oven. The patron, a policeman, said he would take the sandwich anyway and returned the next day with some friends asking for more dipped sandwiches. And so was born the "French Dipped Sandwich," so called either because of Mathieu's French heritage, the French roll the sandwich is made on or because the officer's name was French. The answer is lost to history.

You are a about beautiful mile walk, or a five dollar cab ride from The Palmer House. You should definitely take an hour out of your day to visit their famous bar and the Empire Room. The main lobby is something memorable and I shit you not that yours truly played the Steinway in the Empire Room. Grab a Palmer Fizz and enjoy the scenery.Stark wrote: 11 E Walton St Chicago, IL 60611
The vendor is taking us to Gibson's for dinner I guess. That still leaves dinner on Sunday night, breakfast, lunch, and breakfast the next day. Suggest away!
Not a fan of deep dish? Last time I was in Chicago, I ate at Lou Malnati's and thought it was the best pizza I had ever had.Luke wrote:Check out Piece Pizza off of Milwaukee near Division street. Best thin crust pizza Chicago has to offer and only a few miles away from Walton.
Avoid all "Authentic Chicago Deep Dish Pizza" joints that are located down, downtown.
