I'll likely pass again this year but I look forward to seeing all the cool costumes on racketboy. :)

If I bother to make/buy a costume, I'm going to be the Easter Bunny.

It'd be one of those big headed costumes with the cold unmoving eyes.

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.

If you do, than I insist you try to replicate the one seen here. I find them sufficiently cold, and unmoving.

That, or one of the freakish birds creatures with the 1920's swim trunks. Either one will do.

Saw the vid a few months ago and I thought it would make a cool costume.

And if I had the time, money and resources.... I would love to do a costume of this!

My deal is, if there's a Halloween party I can go to, I will dress up. If not, I won't bother.

Last year I dressed up as Michelangelo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. But, instead of plunking down a bunch of money on one of those pre-made costumes, I got creative with mine. I bought a shirt from Target that is one of those "fun" Halloween "themed" shirts that they sell for like 10 bucks around Halloween time, and that shirt was one that looks like the front of one of the Ninja Turtles. So I got that, then took an old orange t-shirt, cut the shirt up into strips for the arm and leg bands, as well as the headband with the eyeholes. Being that I was dressing up as Michelangelo, I got a set of toy Nunchucks that I've had for nearly 20 years and used that as my prop weapon (I COULD have used a set of real nunchucks, but apparently, it's a felony to possess them in the state of California, which is fucking bullshit, but that rant's for another day). To finish off the costume, I carried a slice of pizza. And yes, when I showed up to my friend's Halloween party last year, I showed up with a slice of cold Costco pizza in my hand. Some people thought I was a genius, others thought I was insane. But it was actually a hit and I enjoyed the costume (except for the fact that the leg bands were a pain in the ass to keep from falling down to my ankles).

The year before I dressed up as the Angry Video Game Nerd, and almost nobody got it, which is why I won't be dressing up as AVGN anymore.

As for this year....I really don't know. I did have fun dressing up as one of the TMNT, so maybe I might try it again this year, but as another turtle. Either Leonardo or Donatello.
