I can't take a beating without at least trying to explain myself so here goes:
Everyone has a "least favorite console", correct? Well, mine's the Genesis.
No, I haven't played every Genesis game ever, there are actually a couple of Genesis games I've enjoyed like Streets of Rage and uhh...um, yeah.
As far as Rocket Knight Adventures being totally awesome yo, I've seen videos on Youtube, looks cool I guess, but it's a Platformer and there are a billion of those. I'm not huge on 2D platformers other than the ones I grew up with, anything else is just of the same but different. That's just me. Maybe it's a closed-minded way to look at it but that's how I feel about it. I also feel that way about "shmups" and "fighters".
In my opinion most Genesis games that I've played just look like crap and are not impressive to me from a visual standpoint (not that I have to be "impressed" to like something, but you know what I mean). There are exceptions, such as Vectorman, which did have surprisingly decent graphics in my opinion. I didn't love the game itself but it's definitely one of the nicer looking Genesis games that I've played. I'm sure there are others that look amazing too, but honestly I don't care because I don't have much interest in the Genesis library in general.
General_Norris can't find more than two games he wants for the SNES? I can't fathom that because it has such a large and diverse library. Well, guess what, I can't find any Genesis games that interest me. It's the same idea, except I'm just viewed as another bully who likes to pick on the weak kid (so to speak).
So there you go.
