I don't really want a SNES, I can't really find more than one or two interesting games for it, which is really, really low. I don't care about RPGs, Fire Emblem wasn't brought over and there doesn't seem to be much else. Really, this is what I want for it:
Uniracers Zombies ate my Neighbours
That's it.

Like most Nintendo consoles, there aren't a whole lot of games on the SNES that aren't first party titles that are worth getting the system for. This is especially true if you don't like RPGs, as that is one of the standout genres on the system. I have about 30 games for the system, and probably 20 of them are first party titles.
Specifically, I've found that most third-party arcade ports play better (but sometimes look worse) on the Genesis becasue the Genesis runs twitch-style arcade games at a faster clip.
So yeah, I hear you. Still, it is probably one of my favorite Nintendo consoles. I'd rank the strength of their libraries thus:
I'm buying a SNES for LLTP and Super Metroid almost exclusively. I've never really given the SNES a chance, so we'll see how it works out. I doubt I'll be as in love with it as I am my Genesis but, you never know till you try!
