High score: 1,435,000
The story is, my brother and I were hardcore into games (nothing's changed), we had pretty much every system for that time (dreamcast, n64, ps1) and my brother pointed out that I'm pretty kick ass at any game I played, then he said if I was REALLY that good at video games, I should try playing some classic atari or coleco.
From that point on, for the next 6 months, we had collected many many retro systems. One, of course, being a beautiful leather covered coleco-vision.
After playing through quite a few random games, from pac-man to the smurfs

To make a long story short, I start playing it casually, which led to two hours later, still playing, hadn't lost all my lives, building my score (at about 600,000 or so) which led to 4 hours later, me break 1million, which I was striving very hard to get once i knew it was achievable. My eyes were aching, I was starting to see things, I was so zoned in I could not stop playing. Which ultimately led to, after breaking 1million, the screen began to flicker and distort, which any of you know a classic game like that can go one forever until it glitches out, as of this point I was happy and I wanted the game to end. But still full of lives I strived through the glitchy path of no return, I finally made it to the max score above, and I feel I could have gone further if I could have paused the game and took a short break... But I truly pushed mine, and the game's limits. I still consider this to be a proud moment of gaming for me and needless to say my brother bowed to me and said "Okay, you're kickass."
So let me ask you, what is your most triumphant moment in video gaming?
