Stay away from the Time Force games. They're all terrible, especially the PlayStation one.

Re: Any good Power Rangers games?
To piggy-back on this thread, are there any good Super Sentai games, retro or otherwise? I know there was a recent one called Battle Cross or something, which included Gokaiger (Pirate Power Rangers!), are there any others that are good?

Re: Any good Power Rangers games?
It's a weird thing, but there are far less Super Sentai games than there are Power Rangers games. Hard to believe, but there you go.
Famicom has Chōjin Sentai Jetman action-platformer which is pretty decent but quite easy. It's like Baby's First Ninja Gaiden. The system also has a Zyuranger game (the series from which the original Power Rangers is derived from) but it's kind of meh. I'd recommend Shatterhand instead, or Super Rescue Solbrain as it's known in Japan, it's based on the Metal Hero tokusatsu series.
Those are the ones I'm familiar with, there are a couple more. Check this video, it covers all of them.

Shatterhand is such a strange case.
Some signs point to it being originally developed as Shatterhand and then turned into Solbrain at the last minute for its Japanese release to fulfill a licensing agreement, seeing as how the game itself has so little to do with Solbrain and the Shatterhand sprite is a lot more detailed and better animated.
It's like it was reverse Doki Doki Panic with Japan getting the altered version.
Either way both versions are great with one level being different (Shatterhand gets a submarine level, Solbrain gets an amusement park). It's one of my favorite NES/Famicom action games.
Also that was a very informative video, Ghegs, thanks! I can't believe how few Super Sentai games there are too. I'd love to own Jetman but man is that game pricey.

I hate to get terribly off-topic, but Natsume was one hell of a developer on the NES & SNES.Gunstar Green wrote:Shatterhand is such a strange case.

On the NES you had Abadox, S.C.A.T, Shatterhand, and Shadow of The Ninja.
On the SNES, there was Pocky & Rocky 1 and 2, MMPR (original) and MMPR The Movie, Ninja Warriors, Mark Davis The Fishing Master, and many others.
Serious Fun was their motto, and you can most certainly believe it.

The SNES games were pretty good but I skipped over most of them after that with the exception of the Sega CD.

Power Rangers Zeo: Full Tilt Battle Pinball for the PS1? I have never been a fan of the show; so, it is the only one that I own. If the SNES and GEN versions are as good as you say, however, I may have to pick those up too.
