I collect consoles for the best games which may sound weird. If a system just has a shitload of good games I will try to buy the system and good games

Neo Geo? No chance. WAY to expensive.

TG-16/PC Engine? Unless you are buying online, forget about it.

Saturn? It's possible to score it and some decent games for $100 or so.

I may get a comp instead before WIN8 comes out instead of a console now. At least I can PC game then

Then why not just buy from the Virtual Console or PSN then? They also have retro classic collections as well. I mean your post just reeks of hipster-ism, that or just a big fan of AVGN.
