hipster vs retro games. What's the differance?

A retro gamer is someone who plays old video games for fun.
A hipster is someone who plays old video games for fun and has a curly moustache.

I just think a retro gamer is someone who lived and played and bought the classic systems that they loved as a kid. Getting games that you can never get as a kid and playing them today to beat the game or buying games that you loved as a kid. I also believe that a retro gamer should have 2 or more retro systems and a current system to enjoy gamming today.

I'm 13, and my favorite systems were released before I was born. Does that mean I'm not a retrogamer?

Nah, most nerds are happy to find others with common interests are happy to share them with others. I know I am anyway. Of course there are some that go overboard and if you're wearing a shirt or pick up something in a store that falls in their interests they'll talk your ear off for as long as you'll let them.

First, take their Call of Doodys and burn them. Give them your retro systems and the hardest games you have. Ask them if they are bad enough dudes to beat them. When they object, tell them that cowards can go no further and take away all available strategy guides and Billy Mitchell hot sauces. Leave them for a few weeks, and don't let them out until they give you photographic proof of virtual pwnage. Once they come out, they will have a newfound apreciation for retrogaming. That, or they will chuck cartridges at you in anger.

LMAO I cant do that to my 2 boy's. There only 8 and 11. That's funny though. Now I just saw a video where a kid picked up all these great games dreamcast,ps1 and a couple others just so that he can sell them on ebay. The kid maybe 10-12. Now is he a hipster?
