Played some Dragon Spirit: The New Legend and Stinger (both on NES) last night. Neither game seems particularly hard, I died eventually just by making stupid careless mistakes. I'm going to try to complete both games fairly soon.

Pretty solid NES choices there. I love me some Dragon Spirit because it's a game you can't be falling asleep on (but the arcade original is far more difficult)BoneSnapDeez wrote:Played some Dragon Spirit: The New Legend and Stinger (both on NES) last night. Question: Why in the hell is there not a thread for Batsugun?

I can count the seconds between "Oh my god, I might actually do it!" and my inevitable failure. *sigh* I hate you, Layer Section.

I just acquired this:

IDK what it is, but within the first 5 minutes of playing this game, it made me feel totally badass. I think I'm gonna waste a lot of hours on this one.

Batsugun! As far as I know that's Toaplan's *final* shmup before they broke into other development outfits such as Raizing and Cave. It's also considered the first bullet hell game. Have fun with that.foxhound1022 wrote:I just acquired this:
