To me!

I don't exactly love Gunstar Heroes, but I do think that it's great. I prefer Alien Solider and Hard Corps.

This is an easy 400 points on XBLA but I didn't enjoy the trial game (maybe it's me) so I went with the GBA game.

I wasn't counting on playing this, having played it for the first time 1 or 2 years ago, but reading your comments I couldn't resist to at least try it out one more time. Downloaded the psn version and beat it again in one sitting! :D

For some reason I actually enjoyed it more this time around, maybe because the first time was on an emulator, using the keyboard. I dont' know, for me there's something about playing an official release on a console, in front of a tv and with a gamepad in hand that makes playing a game more enjoyable.

I'm still pretty much a noob at it, though. Only barely managed to beat the last boss on my 2nd try (easy mode), I just couldn't find a proper way to avoid his attacks. Never died before that one, though.

My combo was homing/laser, it allowed me to focus on manoeuvring which made the gameplay much more accessible (I seem to have trouble with multitasking). I'm still trying out other combos, just messing around with the weapon system.

Oh, and does anyone know how to get that "crab something in the mines" trophy? It's the only one I'm missing :/

My Genesis cart is gone, but I do have the PSN release. LMK if anyone else wants to co-op.

holy crap, I didn't even realize it HAD online co-op! I ended up getting on XBLA, so if anyone else got it on there, then yeah let's plan to run through it together. That's actually exciting because I'm not really loving the game yet. Maybe playing co-op will make it more enjoyable for me.

Ahh, I just got the Facebook update for the main RB page and I saw that Guardian Heroes is also part of the topic.

I can bring it along to the Austin meet up on the 8th. Maybe we can film some co-op and VS battle again.

Aight, for 400 points, I'd be up for this once I'm set with Gold.

i actually just finished this game a month ago. had a lot of fun and also did it in one sitting. the chaser/chaser was my weapon of choice. the dice palace was a pain because i kept having to start from the beginning, and there was one boss that was immune to firepower that i kept dying on. grr. overall a great game, and def. gets the edge over contra 3.
