I was going to mention MGS "Ghost Babel" as well... sure it's not Survival Horror, so sort of OT. But you are right, I group those two games as two shining examples of how with proper care for the hardware, GBC titles could seriously be these amazing "NES versions" of the current gen games of the day.

The first couple things that come to mind when playing RE Gaiden is a lack of variety and tediousness. :(

See, the thing is, if you read 'Hardcore Gaming 101' long enough and hard enough, then you too will be convinced of the undoubted critical acclaim this game should have received but didn't. :P
