Been getting stuck into more Resident Evil 4 and Grim Fandango, although progress has been a bit slow on both as I've been really busy and Command & Conquer used most of my available gaming time.
In Resi, I've just gotten through a maze in the garden and encountered what I assume is a familiar face to series veterans, but who I didn't recognise at all. I'm now off to save Ashley who fell into a trap in the castle. The last chapter bought about some invisible bug enemies who were really stressful to fight as they tended to jump on you as you finished the other ones off. I find that although this game isn't actually very scary, it does stress me out a lot so I have to play in short bursts or I get really irritable - hardly my usual gaming experience
Grim Fandango I am enjoying, although I'm finding the puzzles to be a tad difficult. This is my first more 'old-school' adventure game besides Deja Vu though, with most of my experience coming from Telltales more user friendly recent games. At the minute I'm in the petrified forest looking for a key to let my friend Glottis drive his souped up car over a bridge of bones guarded by firey demon beavers - it sure is full of interesting scenarios at least!
