I think that SNES/GEN to PSX/N64 was a lot bigger leap, Saturn and Dreamcast were kind of "1.5" consoles between generations. There are some very impressive 3D titles in both Saturn and Dreamcast libraries though, there were a lot of PS1 games ported to Dreamcast that didn't really showcase the systems capabilities.AznKhmerBoi wrote:I was impressed with graphics when we saw the change from PSX---> Dreamcast, anything after that doesnt really excite me anymore.
Here are graphics from survival horror games. Resident evil 2 (Playstation, 1998), Blue Stinger (Dreamcast, 1999) and Silent Hill 2 (Playstation 2, 2001). Although D2 is probably a better example of a Dreamcast horror game.
