Do GameGear games play on the Master System?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

You're thinking of Defenders of Oasis
Damn, must have been another tired night. I'm pretty tired now as it happens so I'll avoid saying much...

I've heard quite a bit of praise towards Sonic Chaos, most entirely because of that flying board you get to use... I wasn't really impressed by the gameplay videos I saw, though, but I try not to be swayed by them too much before playing the game.
I'm not much of a fan of Mortal Kombat - I think it is OK, but there's only so long it holds my interest (course, it'd help if I could get a second player to play it; casual gamers don't seem to have much love for Mortal Kombat these days), so I'm not sure I'll be hunting that one down any time soon.

As for the power cable, I think one of those, erm... plugs with multiple ends that can be switched for others should work... - if there's a name for it, it eludes me now; I really am tired - it worked for my Gameboy anyhow.

Anyhow, sleepy times. 8)

On a side note, Pingfa, I'd really suggest you pick up the power cable. Game Gear had only one flaw, and that was that it ate batteries like a champ. If you haven't gone ahead and grabbed it, do it. Also, I'm pretty sure it had a rechargeable battery pack...been years since I messed around with one, though.
Primal Rage, even in arcades, was utter trash. Why? The controls. On Game Gear, you've only got two attack buttons, and every special move involves holding those two buttons, doing the proper motions, then releasing those two buttons. On the arcade and console versions, you had four buttons, and you'd need to hold between two and four of them for each special move, making for a lot of confusion. Considering the fact that the Game Gear version eliminated this, as well as playing quite smoothly for a handheld fighting game (even now), I'd say that it's a pretty solid game.

The Sonic games on Game Gear are far too uneven in terms of controls versus level design. The games with decent level designs have horrible controls/physics, while the games with horrible level designs have great controls/physics. Check out the following vid that I put together a while back:

True, very true, though I've seen quite a few people still defend the arcade title. I always thought the idea was good, and in the arcade, the game was much, MUCH better looking than the console versions. But the controls were always pretty poor.

What other fighters did the Game Gear get, anyway?
