One of my friends in high school sold me a copy of Phantasy Star IV, and when I loaded it up, I noticed every file was taken up, and they were all named "Chaz". Even the file that was near the end of the game!
Well, come to find out, thats the main characters name. I had started to think that my friend was creepily obsessed with me, as it had never occured to me that "Chaz" could be a videogame character.

When Hobie fixed my Pokemon carts, he put a save named Racket on each of them. I thought it was a nice little touch.

Well, wanted to put something that was going to be obvious it was fixed and holding the save for testing and the ride back. Seemed appropriate.BoringSupreez wrote:When Hobie fixed my Pokemon carts, he put a save named Racket on each of them. I thought it was a nice little touch.

Similar to dunpeal2064. I bought a Sega CD and Lunar 1 (disc only) at Funcoland. Started playing only to hear Nall call out for Alex (my name) in the first cutscene. It took me a few seconds to realize that they probably didn't program the game to say any old name that was entered. Also, that I hadn't entered my name.

Ok Duane made me think of a non game one. On the last track of Ministry's 'Land' album, there's a very light female voice that sounds like it is calling a name. Listening to it back in high school, if I was focused on something else, I would sometimes look up and think my mother was calling me.

There are a couple of songs I have where I swear you can hear some sort of siren in the background. I know it's there, but by god, whenever I'm in the car and hear it I turn around and look for a police car or ambulance. I mean, know it's in the song, but I inevitably forget about it and fall for it every time.Hobie-wan wrote:Ok Duane made me think of a non game one.
