You ever find a game you didn't know you had?
Re: You ever find a game you didn't know you had?
To those who mainly play their games, that's pretty much why I made this thread. It's time to cut down on stuff I won't ever play, and that leads to intense scanning of my collection, both of my records and actually picking through each game. So I think this is a good thing.

Not really. If anything, I find that I end up missing games. I've had both my copy of SSB and Super Mario 64 mysteriously vanish, although I've replaced Mario 64 since then.

This happens to me. Once I lost my Megaman Network Transmission disc, then find it months later on my brother's dresser. I don't even.WallCrusher wrote:Not really. I'd be amazed if I found those games after all this time. Although I'm not entirely certain of Mario 64's fate, I'm pretty certain someone swiped my copy of SSB. One day I'll need to replace it, when I care enough to.

Aye, it's always the worst to have someone nab a game from right under ya.WallCrusher wrote:I'd be amazed if I found those games after all this time. ...That wasn't supposed to be typed that way, it's just how it sounded in my head.

I was about to buy Eternal Darkness and Luigi's Mansion on Ebay when I discovered that I already have them both. I got them in a trade about 6 months ago and totally forgot.

The Jak and Daxter series on PS2.
I'm not a huge platformer fan and I definately don't remember purchasing these.
The only thing I can think of is that when I purchased my slim PS2 those games must have come bundled with the system. But I'm not remotely sure of that either.

Usually have the opposite problem games mysteriously disappearing, aka friends and family members stealing them or putting them in a yard sale.

I never found a game I didn't know I had however I have had to stop myself a few times when looking through games to buy and try to remember if I already had the game or not.
