Coming back to this, let me use Microsoft's E3 as an example; we're half an hour in and everything besides the annual sports games and expected Forza is either Kinect crap or a shooter, no exceptions.AppleQueso wrote:So the only reason you play retro games is because of shooters?
Wow dude.

Again, just because that's the market they're catering too right now (and to be fair, that's the market MS has always catered too) doesn't mean they're the only thing out there and that they're somehow ruining gaming.GameMasterGuy wrote:Coming back to this, let me use Microsoft's E3 as an example; we're half an hour in and everything besides the annual sports games and expected Forza is either Kinect crap or a shooter, no exceptions.AppleQueso wrote:So the only reason you play retro games is because of shooters?

It's usable, but ugh that small d-pad and the weird ways that it contours when its sideways...KDub wrote:Hmm well, I like it.AppleQueso wrote:ThissssssZenErik wrote: The Wii Remote feels TERRIBLE sideways. There are not many less comfortable controllers out there...

Right, I have no issues with it. I guess some people are just not capable of adjusting to it.KDub wrote:Hmm well, I like it.AppleQueso wrote:ThissssssZenErik wrote: The Wii Remote feels TERRIBLE sideways. There are not many less comfortable controllers out there...
Re: Nintendo: Project Cafe - Wii U
Does anybody else feel like the Wii U is sort of having an identity conflict? Its trying to do everything, I fear it will fail to differentiate itself in the way Nintendo is known for. We now have three unique ways to play this thing. The Gamepad, the Controller Pro, and the Wii Remote. Additionally the pro controller is essentially a Gamepad without the screen. Maybe this is Nintendo's way of adding more than 1 controller. You can have one Gamepad, and 3 Pro Controllers connected. I don't know, but I see identity crisis, that may result in mediocrity in everything.

Are we able to use the Classic Controller Pro with the Wii U? (Has that been confirmed yet?)
If so, why even buy the Wii U Pro Controller? They seem to have the same amount of buttons.
