Ditto, I might even be getting more excited about this than Bioshock Infinite. This just screams spiritual successor to Thief to me.

Glad it'll be broken up into area's / levels. Deus Ex, Thief, etc, all did that well, and that's my style preference over true open world.

Yeah, with an open world you've got the burden of making the world worth exploring; otherwise it's just padding out getting from point A to point B. The Elder Scrolls games do a pretty good job of this; there are tons of little caves filled with goodies lying around, not to mention various quest givers you can find in shacks or interesting remains of an ill-fortuned traveller. By contrast I feel the GTA games give you this wide open world but there are comparatively few landmarks worth visiting. Everything in between is just padding the travel between mission start locations.

It's funny you say that since I typically love the city sandbox games though. Maybe it's some weird aesthetics that win me over, but yeah I love cities. Your point is completely true though, not a lot of true interacting going on in them.

I will possibly agree with you ... I guess we'll see. I don't think it could be more of a me game. Diablo III is my current GotY, though.

Don't know what to think of this game. Just from looking at the gameplay and screenshots, I feel like the 360 version of this game is going to have really butchered graphics because right now at least to me the game looks to nice to be true in terms of graphics.

Also, I second playing it after Bioshock Infinite.

Still feel that way now that Infinite has been pushed to 2013? I'm not waiting to play Dishonored, Day 1 purchase for me.

Honestly, I think that Infinite got pushed back because 2K didn't want to cannibalize its own market.

In terms of graphics, you have nothing to worry about. It's going to look better than this come release time on 360. Trust me, it'll be okay. I said the same thing about A LOT of games this generation.
