For $49.50 total, over the weekend:

Got the controllers for $1.25 each at Salvation Army. The employee discount rocks! Also got Battlefront 2 and Jade Empire Limited Edition at Goodwill.

An HD CRT! It was $75 at Salvation Army, but there was a half-off sale going on for TVs, so I got it for only $37.50. It's a 30 inch Samsung, manufactured in 2003. Sadly, I scuffed up the left side a bit getting it out of the store and into the car (it weighs like 200 lbs or something, and I was working alone).

That 1984 by George Orwell is by far the coolest find in the picture... ^^

Pink. I see pink? PINK! Try to keep a low profile in that Neon. A rare find, what was the theme on the color?

 Beautiful and uncommon HD CRT, you have got to show a pic of a game running.

  You carried this by yourself? The clear pic will draw your attention away from that scuff mark. A chance a built in woofer surround sound, room for the extra speaker refect box inside huge CRTs.

Great book, been a loooong time since I read it. I remember one of the "predictions" was that people could change their skin color like clothing which would put a new throw in prejudice issues. Stuff like that really makes one think how society would change with new technology. I wonder how much of the book has come true?

Nice finds, especially the boxed Advance Wars. I still need to make time to play this myself, all the reviews gave it high marks.

Too much...

I read it in prison 4 years ago when I was in preventive custody for selling weed.

Could not have thought of a better time or place to read it...

By the way CRT, you sure you're not confusing George Orwell's 1984 with Aldous Huxley's Brave New World?...

The irony of Big Brother always watching you. I just asked my son who has some friends over all in High school and have not heard of the book! I thought this would be required reading.

Just read your added line in your Edit, Big Brother is watching me here! :D

I don't remember reading Brave New World, now I really have to read 1984 again and your recommendation as well.

Yeah, the picture and sound quality definitely make up for the scuffs. My oXbox has never looked better, and sound quality is higher than any of my other televisions. I'll put a picture of a game running on it up tomorrow.

And Brave New World is a must read, for the record.
