Pink. I see pink? PINK! Try to keep a low profile in that Neon. A rare find, what was the theme on the color?Hateshinai wrote:I finally decided to get a PS2. I hit a carboot sale and got this badass:

Sadly, I scuffed up the left side a bit getting it out of the store and into the car (it weighs like 200 lbs or something, and I was working alone).
Great book, been a loooong time since I read it. I remember one of the "predictions" was that people could change their skin color like clothing which would put a new throw in prejudice issues. Stuff like that really makes one think how society would change with new technology. I wonder how much of the book has come true?elmagicochrisg wrote:First flea market of 2012...

That 1984 by George Orwell is by far the coolest find in the picture... ^^
Too much...CRTGAMER wrote:I wonder how much of the book has come true?

The irony of Big Brother always watching you. I just asked my son who has some friends over all in High school and have not heard of the book! I thought this would be required reading.elmagicochrisg wrote:Could not have thought of a better time or place to read it...CRTGAMER wrote:I wonder how much of the book has come true?
By the way CRT, you sure you're not confusing George Orwell's 1984 with Aldous Huxley's Brave New World?...
Starting to mix them up, so I think I just might have to do the same thing...CRTGAMER wrote:I really have to read 1984 again and your recommendation as well.

Yeah, the picture and sound quality definitely make up for the scuffs. My oXbox has never looked better, and sound quality is higher than any of my other televisions. I'll put a picture of a game running on it up tomorrow.CRTGAMER wrote:BoringSupreez wrote:An HD CRT! You carried this by yourself? The clear pic will draw your attention away from that scuff mark. A chance a built in woofer surround sound, room for the extra speaker refect box inside huge CRTs.
