Let's not discriminate based on age...I think you just meant to confirm he wasn't playing games long, but I've seen others on the forum discount members based on age previously. I have seen plenty of teenage members on this forum who can talk circles around members in their 20s and 30s.BoringSupreez wrote:Jmenglan wrote:You really haven't been playing games that long have you? "WW2 console shooter times"? You mean the mid 2000's? When Doom and Quake had one new release each? Also Quake and Duke Nukem were great on the Saturn, Doom had quality ports on the PlayStation and Nintendo 64, and Quake 3 was fantastic on the Dreamcast. You seem to be very confused. And I say no, no, no to you. The top PC games of the WW2 console shooter times was Quake and Half-Life and other games like that. Back then FPS were totally different on console and PC. And in regards to your Doom and Quake being on SNES, PSX, etc. Those were in no way influential on console, receiving much more attention on PC. The console versions of those games were almost all bad ports in an attempt to milk off the name of Doom, Quake, Duke Nukem, whatever.Viewing profile - pankakes123

That said, pancakes isn't doing much in this thread (or that other one...) to suggest that he knows what he's talking about in regards to the topics in question. Let's take him to task for indefensible claims, not pubescence.
