Oh please. Spare me the persecution complex. No one is going after "rednecks" here. I'm a flannel-wearin' tractor-drivin' rural Maine farmer who supports equal rights for all.

And I kept thinking your avatar was just from some obscure game box!

Basically a lot of people consider incest morally wrong, just like homosexuality. What I am saying is for all of those vehemently against the amendment passing would they also be this up in arms if this was one against incest marriages, of which only cousin marriages are considered legal in some states, and which would also be two consenting adults. I personally do believe that if homosexual marriages become legal so should incest. Who am I to say what is and isn't there rights between too consenting adults and which consequences won't affect me. By the way North Carolina is one of the states where cousin marriages are legal.
I just thought markeconrad was making light of people's moral concerns with his slippery slope comment. Nothing aimed at you pephary.

Not gonna lie, I expect to look like that in about 50 years. Maybe sooner.

No referendum is made without knowing the result beforehand either.

You are so vain, you probably thought my post was about you.

If you think you are included in the statement "there are too many bigots" perhaps you should look at yourself in the mirror.

Easy General. I think out of all the references he made, your post just stated that bigots exist. I can understand being upset about being called out, but the rational people here see no fault in your post.

Yeah. On retrospective I realized that quoting something posted several pages ago isn't really conductive to good discussion.

I also fear he doesn't get the reference

I'm pretty sure most states would be about the same. There really isn't a point to getting a degree if you live in the middle of nowhere as well.

Also horrible domain name ftw

What's the point of going to college if you're going to raise pigs or weld?
