To be honest? No.glynnahab wrote:I recently picked up a brand new, black label copy of Final Fantasy XII for $10 at K-Mart. I know it's not worth much now, but I plan on holding onto it and leaving it sealed since I already had another copy.
Do you guys think a game with such a large print run has any chance of seeing a significant increase in value over the next 5-10 years?
The only reason FFVII does is because it was a landmark game that many people have a huge nostalgic attachment to. Even then, you can get a CIB FFVII for $30. FFXII doens't have that going for it. It will still be $5-10 in that many years. Sealed? You'll get something more.
That's not a bad deal at all!pheria wrote:Not recent (a couple of years ago), but one of the best deals I ever encountered was getting a new/like new Steel Battalion from Gamestop for about $35.
Mjmjr25... I'd love to visit your home sometime. Sounds like a retro gamer's/shoot 'em up fan's heaven! Where in your state to you live? I'm on the northern border, I'm at least within an 8 hour drive I'm sure!
